What is Bromley.News about?
It doesn't all have to be bad news. Bromley and its surrounding boroughs consist of a million people. There is so much community and connection and help and support and friendship in that million people that it would fill a thousand newspapers but nobody ever hears about it beneath the groaning burden of doom and gloom.
I'm changing that. This is the place to post your thoughts, your comments, your Kodak moments, your events, your activities, your passions, your sports and all of those things that are so uplifting but remain so hidden on everybody's phone, in notes and images that would brighten someone's day, give them an opportunity to learn or connect or enjoy.
All we need to do is to start sharing our good news because there needs to be an alternative to the relentless drumbeat of global gloom.
So I have set up this site for that purpose. Please join us. If you're interested in helping out, let me know and I'll make it the easiest thing in the world for you to contribute.
About Robert
My name is Robert Mitchell. I run Bromley Mindfulness. I've been working in our community for 10 years. I've worked with many people and organisations and I believe that I have a feel for our community.
One of the things that I've learned is that our community needs an outlet to share those things that we can learn and to help each other.
We need to find those places and people that will make a positive difference to our life, there just needs to be a channel to do that.
And that's what Bromley News is and will be. A channel for community connection. So click below to contact me and join us.
